Adam established Saksons Interiors in 2014, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the KBB (kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom) industry. Before founding Saksons, Adam honed his craft working for several leading manufacturers and design studios. Born and raised in York, Adam loves his hometown but also enjoys exploring the world through travel.

Adam takes immense pride in Saksons Interiors and the dedicated team that makes it all possible. Over the years, he has built strong, lasting relationships with trusted suppliers and remains loyal to the brands that have supported him throughout his career.

At the heart of Saksons is the Saksons Standard: a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality. Adam personally signs off every project, ensuring it meets his high standards. If a business or supplier doesn’t align with these values, Adam is happy to part ways to uphold what Saksons stands for.

Saksons Interiors is a small, independent, family-run business with a single showroom. Adam believes in staying true to their mission: to provide personal service, expert project management, cutting-edge design, and the finest quality products. Amy joined Saksons Interiors in 2019 after completing a work placement while studying Interior Design at York St John University. Originally from Leeds, she moved to a picturesque village just outside York after graduating, where she has since started her family.

Amy’s love for interior design began at an early age. She spent countless hours in The Sims’ build mode (and still does!) and was more interested in decorating her Barbie dollhouse with wallpaper samples and carpet offcuts than playing with the dolls. These creative beginnings ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in interior design.

Working for a small, independent family business like Saksons is something Amy finds incredibly fulfilling. She takes pride in the quality and innovative products the company offers and values the strong relationships they build with their customers. Whether it’s designing a compact cloakroom or a luxurious master bedroom, Amy enjoys being closely involved in every project, ensuring each space reflects the customer’s vision.

Harry, Adam’s friendly and laid-back Cockapoo, is the unofficial mascot of Saksons Interiors. On occasion, Harry can be found in the showroom, spreading cheer and adding to the family atmosphere. His calm and welcoming nature makes him a favorite with many visitors, and he perfectly embodies the warm and approachable spirit of the business.

While we know not everyone is comfortable around dogs, rest assured that Harry’s appearances are occasional and always considerate of our customers’ preferences.
